This new workforce training facility for West Virginia University at Parkersburg is a pivotal part of a long term statewide effort to bring businesses and development to West Virginia. The Applied Technology Center (ATC) replaces the college’s outdated technology wing with modern industrial labs, classrooms, faculty offices and support spaces for hands-on instruction in multiple kinds of welding, machining, industrial maintenance and multi-craft technology.
