This new facility provides state-of-the-art advanced work-force training and certification in high-demand skills including pipefitting, welding, medical gas systems, HVAC installation and maintenance, instrumentation and calibration and rigging. These trades are essential to residential, commercial and industrial construction and to the regional economy.

This phased project serves as the new headquarters of Steamfitters Local 449 and provides training and certification for over 200 apprentices annually. Phase 2–also by PWWG–will provide new office space and a large, multi-function hall for Steamfitters’ meetings, plus a medical clinic for union members and their families. Delivered via a Design-Build agreement with Mascaro Construction.
